Blog 6

Please teach the class five new vocabulary words that you think may enrich us in some compelling new ways. Include here the words and the definitions and, if you wish, some sample sentences using these words.

rack rate (noun) : the stated or regular price without discount charged for something (as a hotel room)
The rack rate for the suite is 600 dollars.

(verb) : To grab or steal. To yank.
You just ganked my candy!

daymare (noun) : something evil or frightening occurring when it's not dark that produces a feeling of anxiety or terror

mac mamma (noun) : A female who carries or has been known to carry a MAC-10 or MAC-11 machine gun. (Its meaning has been polluted by popular culture into someone who is "in charge" or "big" instead of having anything to the Military Armament Corporation's MAC series of machine guns.

1.hadar-when haters can't stand to see others progress or have something nice. Cindy and Mary put Sally on the hadar because they envided her new clothes, job, and boyfriend.

2.jagger bush-a bush with thorns or pricklers. Mike got hurt when he got stuck on the jagger bush.

3.ramdomable- an item not belonging to any specific category. While unpacking the moving boxes, I came across a box of ramomables.

4. kablingy- money; currency
What are you going to do with all that kablingy.

5.wobblyman- atype of dance that is "wobbly" and choregraphed and wild.
He was on the dance floor doing the wobblyman.

1. Abdabs- A state of extreme nervousness.

2. Abdulits- Being sympathetic when judging.

3. Pansaft- The sudden quiescence of a crowd.

4. Sabo- To rat someone out

5. Lasp- To cool down a hot liquid by constantly lifting it out of a pot or bowl with a spoon and letting it fall back in.

3) blalk- The act of transporting or linking from one blog to another.

4) acadentology- The scientific process involved in accident investigation, re creation, and causal analysis

5 Vocabulary Words

1. Hologram - a negative produced by exposing a high-resolution photographic plate, without camera or lens, near a subject illuminated by monochromatic, coherent radiation, as from a laser: when it is placed in a beam of coherent light a true three-dimensional image of the subject is formed.

2. Infa-red -
1.the part of the invisible spectrum that is contiguous to the red end of the visible spectrum and that comprises electromagnetic radiation of wavelengths from 800 nm to 1 mm.
